Facility location
The YMAA Retreat Center is located in a remote mountain area in Humbolt County, Northern CA, near a small town called Garberville. It takes about 20 minutes by car to drive to town. The town as about five thousand people, but it has everything. It has an Hospital, cinema, a big market and a lot of hotels, because in summer time a lot of people travel there for vacation.
Accessibilities
The closest airport to the Retreat Center is the Eureka/Arcata (ACV) airport. It’s a small airport that only permits small single engine or multi engine airplanes. It takes about 1h30 hours to drive from the airport to the Retreat Center facility.
Sightseeing
Nearby that area, is located the famous Avenue of the Giants that belongs to the Redwood National Park where you can find some of the biggest trees in whole world. The ancient sequoias that can be higher than the Statue of Liberty, and heavier than a plane. To know more visit the web sites:
