Hey… Long time no see!
This is my last night in Portugal before the departure. The night was fast running from one place to another to say the last goodbyes. It’s good to have all the support from my friends and family. My mom is a little bit sad, because it’s going to be to many years, but it has to be.
I feel happy. I’m just taking care of the last details and preparing to go to bed. In a few hours I will give a big step in my journey towards the final stage. I feel prepared to endure the hot and cold weather, training night and day, to be something more than me. I hope to count with you all in this journey for life, and you can count on me on what I can help. I take with me no worries, no regrets… just an open mind ready to learn.
Goodbye Portugal… Hello America.
For those staying in homeland, don’t worry… things will be just fine. They will be what they have to be. Hapiness is the fuel, the engine, and the movement. Have faith…
Kisses and Hugs…
Ruca (you know what it means…)
I just have one thing to say: you better not fall asleep, beacause if I’m going to get up at 7:00 AM to take you to the airport, you better get in that plane!
Seriously, it’s kind of weird how fast time has passed. Just yesterday we were talking about how cool it would be to go the YMAA’s Retreat Center and today, here we are, it’s already time for you to go.
No evening on T42 will be the same without you, without your contagious smile and happiness, without your simplicity that so many find so complex but which I understand so well.
But you’re taking a step in the direction you want to go. A big step at that. I must confess that at some point I almost wished you didn’t go, because I wasn’t sure it was the right thing for you to do and also because I didn’t want to “lose” a dear friend. But since then I’ve come to terms with the fact that this is what you want, so you just have to say the word an I’m there to help you however I can.
But even so, you will still be missed, my good friend.
Have a great journey and don’t forget the “Universal Truth”!
