My dear friends…

Today I had what seems to be good news for the future. I received the information that a man that all of us know for years, is being informed by is adviser about the YMAA Retreat Center. This man gave us many hours of entertainment on the magical box and on the big screen. He is a master of martial arts movies and comedy. I’m talking about the famous Chinese actor, Jackie Chan.

He is the kind of man that could and should help this project to succeed. I was told that once he said “I will do everything to help the Chinese martial arts!”. This is a good chance to do that. This project is one of the most beneficial projects (if not the most) for the martial arts society. All the values and the training passed there, are very important to preserve the higher values of Chinese arts and culture.
I do believe that if he really meant what he said, he will help us. All the things represented in his old movies about ancient training and lifestyle, are going to be protected and developed. If the information really gets to him, he will help. He will do something. If he just speaks publicly about the project, it’s already good for us. Maybe he can even sponsor a student? Who knows!

I just hope that what happens is for the best of everyone.
